Branding, Exhibit Design, Web Design and User ExperienceVERS is a virtual exhibition and completely digital museum. It challenges and inspires users to imagine the art museum as an accessible and immersive experience through the use of web design and user experience principles. VERS explodes art into the cultural consciousness with its digital platform that can be accessed anywhere, and a supersaturated marketing campaign. Art should be accessible, exciting, and more than anything, inspirational and transformative.
Process
The process for VERS started with research and a manifesto. After the pandemic happened, the arts and culture in cities started to struggle, showing a huge need for a revitalization of the art museum structure through a digital transformation. VERS was born from the philosophy of: art is for everyone, art is everywhere. And therefore art needs to be more accessible for the world, both through technology and through marketing. From then on I played with deconstructing art and naturally found myself playing with gradients, prisms, and portals to represent the fluid ubiquity of the internet. Eventually that led me to the concept of a kaleidoscope, how it can refract a single artform into millions of beautiful possibilities.
